Background[edit | edit source]

Appearance[edit | edit source]

Aesthetics[edit | edit source]

  • Numbuh 1 is based off his usual appearance in the show.
  • Numbuh 1 mainly utitizes the M.U.S.K.E.T. as his gun, but uses others as well.

Attributes[edit | edit source]

  • Numbuh 1 has average speed overall, with slightly above-average dashes, walking speed, and air speed, but slightly below-average air acceleration and fall speed.
  • He is a middleweight.
  • He has four mid-air jumps, all of them utilizing his J.E.T.A.B.O.O.T.S.

Moveset[edit | edit source]

  Name Damage Description
Neutral attack   1.5% A punch, then a hit with his M.U.S.K.E.T..
2%
Forward tilt S.P.L.A.N.K.E.R. 10% Utilizes the S.P.L.A.N.K.E.R.. Deals high damage and knockback, KOing at 120%, but has high start-up and ending lag.
Up tilt   6% Kicks upwards. It can combo into itself at low percents, but is practically useless at mid percents onward.
Down tilt   8% Pokes his foot outward. Slow, but has a high chance of tripping at all percents.
Dash attack   9% Kicks outwards and blasts the opponent with his J.E.T.A.B.O.O.T.S. Sends him backwards after the move ends, allowing it to be used for spacing and hit-and-runs, and can KO starting at 150%.
Forward smash S.L.U.G.G.U.H. 12% (uncharged), 22% (charged) Fires the S.L.U.G.G.U.H.. The distance the fist travels depends on how long it has been charged, from point-blank at no charge to 1/4 of the stage at full charge. Can KO starting at 100%.
Up smash F.R.A.P.P.E. 14% (uncharged), 24% (charged) Fires the F.R.A.P.P.E. Has decent range. When fully charged, the move freezes the opponent and sends them sideways towards the opposite direction they were facing. Although it cannot KO until around 250%, the higher the percent the longer they would be frozen, potentially still KOing regardless.
Down smash B.O.T.T.L.E.C.A.P. 15% (uncharged), 25% (charged) Fires the B.O.T.T.L.E.C.A.P. downward. Numbuh 1's strongest smash attack, capable of KOing starting at 80%.
Neutral aerial   6% (early hit), 4% (late hit) Does a mid-air cartwheel. Early hit deals significantly more knockback KOing starting at 130% mid-stage, while the late hit combos into other aerials or tilts.
Forward aerial   12% A forward kick with his J.E.T.A.B.O.O.T.S. Propels him backward, making it useful for recovery. Has high ending lag, but can KO starting at 130%.
Back aerial   12% Identical to his forward aerial.
Up aerial   7% Upward swipe with his M.U.S.K.E.T. A simple combo tool that can combo into itself at low percents, although it has no practical uses after mid-percents, KOing at around 190%.
Down aerial   5% Fires his M.U.S.K.E.T. downward. Has huge range, but doesn't deal much damage and knockback, but deals a lot of shield damage. Used best to safely get back onto stage.
Grab   Simply grabs the opponent,
Pummel   0.5% Knees the opponent. Very quick, but doesn't deal much damage.
Forward throw   10% Knocks the opponent forwards. Can combo into dash attack at very low percents, but is otherwise used to throw opponents offstage. Cannot KO at realistic percents.
Back throw   9% Kicks the opponent backwards with his J.E.T.A.B.O.O.T.S. Capable of KOing starting at 130%, but is otherwise used to set up edgeguards.
Up throw B.A.J.O.O.K.A. 6% Shoots the B.A.J.O.O.K.A. upwards, sending the opponent upwards. It can be used to combo into aerials at low to mid percents. Can KO starting at 150%.
Down throw B.A.J.O.O.K.A. 6% Squirts the B.A.J.O.O.K.A. downwards. It is Numbuh 1's best combo move, allowing combos into aerials up to high percents. When used at the edge of the stage, it can spike opponents weakly with set knockback.
Floor attack (front)   3% Swipes his feet around him.
Floor attack (back)   3% Swipes his feet around him.
Floor attack (trip)   3% Swipes his feet around him.
Edge attack (fast)   3% Kicks onto the stage.
Edge attack (slow)   3% Kicks onto the stage.
Neutral special M.U.S.K.E.T. 2% Continuously fires the M.U.S.K.E.T. It deals no knockback, but holding down the special button allows the move to infinitely spam the move. Can rack up damage really fast.
Side special T.A.N.G.L.E.R. 5% (hit), 2% (side of net) Fires the T.A.N.G.L.E.R. forward. If it catches the opponent, it reels in the opponent and subsequently acts as a grab, allowing Numbuh 1 to throw the opponent. If it misses, it slightly knocks the opponent backwards, allowing it to be used for gimps. If used mid-air, Numbuh 1 will throw the net forwards immediately.
Up special J.E.T.A.B.O.O.T.S. 12% Activates the J.E.T.A.B.O.O.T.S. Has great vertical distance and moderate horizontal distance. If the opponent is below the J.E.T.A.B.O.O.T.S. when it activates, it will deal damage and spike the opponent.
Down special M.A.R.B.L.E. 10% (explosion) Rolls a M.A.R.B.L.E. Explodes when it makes contact with the opponent, or after 3 seconds. The explosion can KO opponents starting at 100%. Inputting the move in no direction causes Numbuh 1 to roll the M.A.R.B.L.E., while inputting it upwards or forwards will cause him to throw the M.A.R.B.L.E. instead. If used offstage, the M.A.R.B.L.E. will fall depending on its trajectory.
Final smash Operation: C.A.K.E.D. 45% The C.O.O.L.B.U.S. swoops in front of Numbuh 1. If it hits, the opponent is sent flying into a giant cake in a cutscene. Numbuh 1 then summons the remaining Sector V agents and they let out an attack. The cake then explodes, sending the opponent flying while other agents around them enjoy the cake leftovers falling from the sky. Can KO as early at 45%.

Taunts[edit | edit source]

  • Throws his hands up and cries "I'm Numbuh 1!"
  • Attempts to fire the M.U.S.K.E.T. forward, but it backfires, spraying mustard onto him.
  • (A third taunt)

Idle Animations[edit | edit source]

  • Flips his M.U.S.K.E.T. around.
  • Pushes his sunglasses upwards.

Entrance[edit | edit source]

  • Jumps out of the C.O.O.L.B.U.S., which flies off-screen.

Victory Pose[edit | edit source]

  • Victory theme: the last 2 measures of the theme song.
  • Runs onto the screen and points the M.U.S.K.E.T. upwards, screaming "Kids Next Door." Similar to his taunt.
  • Flies onto the screen and does his pose from the intro.
  • Knocks down Chad Dickson and poses above him.
